Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 387 and 388

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hey ladies, we only have 36 days left until graduation.  I booked our flight  yesterday.

Hi NausetMom:

We are going to drive, leaving Wednesday. I just haven't broken the news yet to my principal that I need off 3 days.. LOL, That Monday is a Holiday (Columbus Day) and in our school district you can't take off before a holiday......

I can't believe 36 days!!!!! I think too, maybe letters are in the mail for us here back at home.

Somone one on FB just posted that they received 1st letter from this ship and div.  Her daughters comment is that they are coming together as a team.   She lives in IL so we are next.

Hard to believe that NEXT month they graduate.  I am sure it will not come too fast for our SR!  Thinking of my daughter and all of your SR that they continue to progress and do well.   They should be proud for what they they have done so far.  Peace to all of you.

Got letters today!! Div 388.. My SR mentioned several of his new friends.. Anyone family to Yuchalic,Perry or Gold?

Could the last name be different than Yuchalic? Our name sounds like. It is a tough one to spell!! Can't post it here for security but you could private message me. My son is in charge of the 338 division.

My son mentioned your son! They are buds!!

My son called last night and is loving boot camp! This is my second son going into the Navy. So glad our boys are buds!

I don't know how to private message...haha

finally got our first letter, she sounds good...I feel so much better now

Just got my 1st letter.  My son is doing well.  So Happy, I keep rereading it.

Hello Everyone! This is my first reply to this discussion and I'm very excited about the upcoming PIR of 10/11/13!!!

This is my second son going through Navy Boot camp and is 12/338. My first son graduated 10/8/11, was 03/335 division and is currently stationed on the USS Carl Vinson. This son will stay in Great Lakes for his A school after graduation. Looking forward to meeting some of you. I am still friends with many mom's I met the first go around. This is a fantastic place to learn information and get support!
