It seems there are a lot moms/loved ones in this group and I just love reading all the comments, support and info!  I, however, would like to find out the specific ones that have an SR on Ship 13/Div 403 (or even 404 as they are brother divisions).  Please reply, so I know who you are! Thanks! :)

Division discussions will be post in the PIR group for 10/25 within the next couple of days. The RTC has yet to confirm the divisions for this date, but looking at the last few posts in that group, and counting divisions is may be set. I will probably set up the discussions before the RTC posts the division numbers.

Remember even those who are not in the same division will be at PIR with you, and their sailors may be going to the same school, and may even to  the same permanent duty station in the fleet.

Hi my name mary and my son is on ship13/div403 how are you doing...
Great, have you heard from your sailor? Mine called last Saturday and said he would call again this Saturday. Are you planning on going to PIR?
Hi I'm Julie, my son is in ship 13, div 404. His pir is 10/25
I plan on attending the PIR on October 25 for ship 13, div 404. I heard its ok if my recruit takes a friend with him on liberty who may not have any family coming to PIR. Does anyone know if this is true? It would be fine with us if he wanted to bring one of his fellow recruits just to get away for the day, we are bringing our computer so our recruit can Skype with family here in California

Yes they can.  Its encouraged if you can do that it would really mean alot to the SR and to their family I'm sure.

Julie - yes, my husband and I plan on going to PIR 10/25.  Are you going to Sarge's Meet and Greet Thurs night?  Our flight gets in late, so we might make the tail end of it.  (Trying to see if we can change our flight).  Heard its an event you don't want to miss.  We are staying at Navy Lodge through Sat night as I suspect my SR will leave that night for A school in Pensacola. I am not sure about taking a fellow recruit to PIR.  You'll have to ask one of the veteran moms on here.  Nice to "meet" you.  hopefully when we start receivign letters from our SRs we can compare notes :)  (Oh, and yes, got a call Sat too! He sounded tired but sounded like he was doing okay!  Glad to hear we may get another one this Saturday?!? :)

We are going to try and make it to the meet and greet, I think our plane gets in at 4:30 and i believe Sarge's starts at 5:30 so... We are staying at the Navy lodge also from 10/24-10/27. My son is also flying to Pensacola for A school. They usually fly out the next day for schools other than GL. I am going to try and meet him at the airport so I can give him his cell phone and laptop. I did get 1 letter from my son about a week ago but, nothing since.

Hi, we did the same things last time. We met our sailor at O'Hare with his stuff.

Hi, I am Lisa. My son Nathan is Ship 13 Div. 403. After boot camp he will go to Groton, CT for sub. Training
