Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 019 and 020

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Wasn't it great to hear her voice.  Was your connection bad?  Ours was horrible.

I was so excited, but she too sounded like maybe she was sick. There was some static in the background.

Got my call!!! A little over 11 minutes even though he said he only had 5. Our sons got to say hi to him as well. He said he hasnt been able to receive any mail yet. He has to wait til tomorrow. He said that he can only send mail on sundays starting tomorrow, although he has written a few. It was so nice just to hear his voice. He has a cold...everyone does. As I've heard from the main group. 40 more days! He said time passs fast they keep them busy. Enjoy all of yo ur calls today. This wife will be glowi ng for the rest of the day. (:

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY SON!!!!! 5 minutes and 17 seconds of bliss.  He sounds so good, and happy!  He's a Section Leader (what's that?).  Passing everything easily- ready for more physical challenges.  Doesn't like the stress of "hurry up and wait".  Said I LOVE YOU so many times!

I also got to talk for 11 minutes! I'm so happy today. I had just left my job of 12 years in Fresno, Ca yesterday to move to TN so it was a sad day but today made up for it!

I GOT MY CALL!!!!  He is sick and he only had a couple of minutes but at least I got to hear his voice.  He said they have not been allowed to write letters yet, but they start this Sunday.  (He is in ship 14 div 20)  I miss him so much :-)  I hope you all get amazing calls today!!  I know I don't have to stalk the mail carrier for my mail till at least Monday now :-)

Still waiting for a call. So happy for those of you who
Have received one!!

Hi scootersmom94, when i talked to my daughter, briefly, she said some of the recruits had their wisdom teeth out and she said she thought they would not be able to make calls today. One of her close friends was crying because of it and she tried talking to him to make him feel better and then got yelled at :( Sounds like its all very emotional. I asked her his name and they only know last names..i should have wrote it down or recorded my call, i forgot lots lol

Im pretty sure the last name started with an 'O' ?'...

I hope you get ur call soon! let us know when you do please.

Thinking of you

scootersmom, my son said there were 140 recruits total in both brother divisions so they may be taking turns. Keep your phone close!
Hi Korys mom.
Thanks. Our last name begins with P. I work in a dental office and had him checked for wisdom teeth before he left.
