Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 089 and 090

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

He wants to bring this friend home with him. Its just we live like an hour and half from base so thats 3 hrs round trip. Dont know for sure will prob find out the day of graduation.

Hey!  Our son is in Div 090 and will be heading to Nuke school in SC.  We live in NE Louisiana and will be coming to PIR.  We need a recommendation for the best or at least a really, really good deep dish pizza in Chicago.

My son will be going in the nuke school also, he is in div 089. I can not believe I have not even thought the pizza in Chicago !!! Can not wait to meet the other moms here !!!

Hi everybody! My boyfriend is in DIV 089. I'll be at PIR with his family, his A school will be in Pensacola. I pray we all get calls tomorrow and letters soon! As for the pizza if you were to be flying in, while he was still in the airport he told me they ate Chicago style pizza to celebrate. I'm not sure of the name of the place but he seemed to enjoy it. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas!

Thanks,,,we will keep an eye out for that pizza place. Merry Christmas to you too !!

Anyone heard from their SR from div 089

I have only received the form letter yesterday, I know my sons recruiter told him they may get to call home on Christmas so I hope so.

I was looking at some other posts from groups that have the same PIR date (ship 14) and they got calls last sat ,,,  seeing that made me hopeful we will get one soon.

Yes....you?

Carolyn

Has anyone received a call today???? I have not, I sure hope they get to make one.

Nothing here so far....:( I know there are several thousand sailors vying for phone time, but we were hoping.
