Dear Nora,
I am in Bagram Afghanistan and wanted to thank you for the Red and White pillow case with the cows on it. It reminds me of when I lived in Indiana and it is appreciated and useful. I will be sure to take it with me when I leave.
Thank You Very Much, Steve .

These are for the 1460th Army

they look great Maryellen!  thanks!

my photos for the Army NG unit:

 Hello Ms Colbert,

I would like to say thank you to you and your students for making the pillow case.

It really means a lot to me to know that what we do out to sea for our country is being noticed. I pray

guys have blessed school year and a fun filled summer.

these were sent to the Halyburton.  Ms Colbert is from Findlay High School in OH.  She teaches a fashion design class and they mailed me 3 large boxes of pcs!

from the USS Halyburton:

Hello, my name is Kordrey  and I am in the United Stated Navy onboard
the USS Haly Burton FFG40. We are currently on deployment doing a SouthCom
and I just want to thank you for the pillow cases and the prayers you send.
My grandparents use to always tell me there isn't anything better than prayer
and especially others praying for one another. Being away from love ones is
never easy but with prayer even the impossible seems possible. Thank you for
continuous prayers pillow cases and may god bless you and your family. Have a
blessed day

I wrote back and this is his response  and I just saw this tonight!  I wonder if she  had the baby:

No problem Ma'am, when God calls me home I can say my life served a purpose

and my kids can be proud of my accomplishments. I chose the blue pillow case
with the stars on them but there was no card inside so I asked Master Chief
who made them and he gave me your card so I decided to email and thank you
for all your support. I was stationed in Everett Washington with alongside
the Lincoln before I got here. I was on the USS Momsen DDG 92. I left Everett
in 2009 but Washington State is where I met my wife and had my daughter. My
wife is due the 29th of this month with my son. I am so proud everything is
gong well with your son outside the military and how engaged you are with
your commitment to the US military. Your pillow cases means even more then
ever. Thank you for all you do not just for my ship but across the world. I
will keep you and your family in my prayers and continue to do my best and do
my part as in the Navy as best as I can. Even when I'm at home and I am tired
as day to day activities can make us, I always give the extra push because I
know my daughter is watching and cant like people like you down. P.U.S.H
means Pray Until Something Happens. So thanks again and the world wouldn't be
the same without women like yourself. Again, my grandparents always told me,
"Success is measured by how many people we bless." Thank you so much for all
you do even when you don't have to. May god bless you and your family and
have a great day.

The Above 3 pictures are from the USS Halyburton. could not get them to all post at once.
