DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

2 Sept 2014  Great Lakes

Check your My Page.

My May arrived at GL last Wednesday, received the initial call, but as of today, still no box. :( I figured it would be quick since we live approx 3 hours from GL. I hope nothing has happened to it! I have 5 letters waiting to send..well 2 actual letters and 3 envelopes with words of encouragement from friends and family that wrote them at her graduation open house. I'm glad we did that so she will get something everyday...if we only had an address. Praying it will arrive tomorrow!

Son shipped out Wed 7/10. No initial call home was received.  No box, No nothing so far. Patience is a virtue.

woops! I meant he shipped Wed 7/9  NOT the 10th. But still waiting to hear....ANYTHING. No call home, no box.

Son is set to leave august 26 , 2014 ... Anyone else with this date ?
My son leaves on that date too!! From Memphis.
Mine is leaving from Dallas tx

My son called!!!! Feeling really bless!

that's a great feeling

we went to the swearing in last year with my other son and spent some more time with him, but didn't go to the airport, thought that would be tough on everyone, I wouldn't have missed that, such a proud moment for us all.

heading to Meps this morning, left my son at the hotel last night at our last dinner at TGIF, had a great time, he is in great spirits - Mom and Dad - not so much, but so proud of him and can wait to hear about his successes and his new shipmates, see you all in the PIR forum soon!
