Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello everyone,

First I want to thank NavyForMoms.com for creating a site like this. Even though I am not a mom, I am a loved one with someone I love in Boot Camp and I have learned a lot just by reading the forums here. Everyone seems nice and we all share the same common goal, to be united with the ones we love as soon as possible. With that being said, I need some help.

I got the information for graduation. She sent it to her friends house. her friend gave me the information about her barracks and stuff. I was wondering is there anyone with love ones apart of:

Ship:03

Division:86

If so, please guide me through what to expect until graduation. and is the address on the graduation letter the address to send mail? I'm just a boyfriend missing his woman. Would like to send this letter off as soon as possible.

Thank you for your help and support. Also, Thank each and everyone of your sons, daughters, husbands, or wives for supporting this country.

Sincerely,

Tahj D.

Welcome!  Yes the address on the Form Letter is the address to send your girlfriend letters. Check out this site as to what to expect.

Good Luck to your Recruit and to you!

Thank you so much. I am grateful.

Thank you so much.

Also, there are groups for SOs and wives.  There are some boyfriends and husbands in the groups, not many, but everyone is missing their recruit.

This is the most active group:

There is also the www.navydads.com site. Smaller membership, less emotional support.

I bailed out when things got politically heated and the admins did nothing to cool things down. There were some scary folks over there.

Years ago, things got hot here, and the Scuttlebutt forum was deleted. Admins here do a good job!
