This pillowcases are ready to ship. I am sure the teams will stir up some chatter among the recipients.

52 cases ready to ship.

They look awesome!!  Thank you.  I sent you an email with the address.

We are on the home stretch for the Kearsarge.  I  hope 1 more wave with get them done.

We have 1 more ship traveling with them.

If you have pcs made, please let me know.  Don't sew.  How about donating fabric to 1 of the HAE

crew who sew and/or $ for shipping.

Please let me know if you have any pcs ready!

Good afternoon,

My name is Conner and I am a sailor deployed on-board the USS
Arlington. We recently received a package of pillow cases, distributed
to the ships crew by our Chaplain. We do this thing called quarters,
where our upper chain of command comes in and talks to us about past
and future events and schedules. During one of our recent "quarters"
we all got to pick out our new pillow cases. It is funny how much
enjoyment a bunch of adult military members get out of picking pillow
cases. The first thing I did when I got back to my rack was switch out
my pillow case with the new one. I had been using that same one all of
deployment, which has been around 6 months. Who knows how many times
that thing had actually been washed! Anyways, we have received a lot
of packages from several different organizations and churches through
out this deployment, but the pillow case has truly been my favorite
one and has provided me with the most use so far. Honestly, this will
be the first response I have written (typed) back to.

I appreciate all the things you men and women do in support of our
countries military. It is your support that brings smiles to many
military members faces that receive little to no support from their
families at home. The things you guys and other people like you do has
made a great impact and improvement of our lives and morale.

Thank your very much for YOUR service!

Sincerely,

Petty Officer 3rd Class  Conner
United States Navy

Ms. Lamberson and Ms. Peller,

I cannot put into words that properly convey the level of my personal gratitude for your organization and the dedicated people that contribute their time and talent into pains-takingly crafting the pillow-cases that were received onboard for my Crew. Each one was so lovely that I could feel the affection that was put into each and every single one.

Every Sailor that received one was truly excited to change out their current standard white pillow case with the new one received from the Patriots at "Heads at Ease".  Much as the same as I truly appreciate my pillowcase. I will cherish it far after I have transferred from this current tour of duty, and it will serve to remind me of the great times I had aboard the Ship, and that there are Americans at home who sincerely care for each one of us.

With momentous appreciation,
Very Respectfully,

Hello Michelle,

This message is being sent to you in regard of the pillowcases that your organization sent to the USS OAK HILL (LSD 51).

I wanted to say thanks for brightening our lives with your work. It means a great deal to me.

The one I chose was blue with sheet music on the opening end; it reminded me of the music I used to play when I was home. Being deployed, of course, separates me from being able to play as there are no instruments on board, but this pillowcase brings back the fond memories of playing and enjoying music.

This is very much appreciated. I am so grateful, and humbled, that there are organizations with people like yourself that care enough to put your time and labor into a work such as this.

Thanks, and God Bless you all.

From the Kearsarge:

First of all I would like to thank you for spending your time and skills to send a piece of your handy work.  It is appreciated.  There are lots of pieces of home that I miss when I’m out here.

Secondly, I want to thank you for your fabric choices.  Looking at the same boring colors day after day can bring you down a little, but a little shock of flames and motorcycles brings a little smile to my face.

Thank you,  Jerri

Thank you so much for the pillow case! It has been years since I have been able to experience a winter again and the Snowman is just perfect, reminds me of all the great experiences I will have the next time I am able to enjoy the snow! Thank you again, consider the gift much appreciated =)

Very Respectfully, HM3(SW) Daniel NCPT3

both of these notes are for Marilu!  Great job!

THANKS FOR THE PILLOW CASE!!!

Hello.  My name is Ryan and I am from San Antonio Texas.  I am  stationed aboard the USS ARLINGTON out of Norfolk VA.  I am deployed and I received your pillow case made with love.  Please accept my deepest thank you for thinking of us while we are deployed.   Your contributions make a difference.  Today at morning quarters you should have seen the guys light up as they got to choose which one they wanted. They were snatching them like  kids snatch presents on Christmas morning.  I just thought you should know.  Take care.

First of all thank you so much for the pillow cases! Our whole berthing has them and they look much better than the ones we had previously haha. It’s a great feeling to have people we don’t know supporting us! Again thank you ladies and gents for the pillow cases, and keep up the good fight.
