Hi.  My son is Stephen.  We are looking forward to attending PIR on 11/22/13.  We will be staying at the Navy Lodge.  Can't wait to see him.  We have had one phone call so far--he was homesick, but doing well.

My son graduated in September, I remember the most exciting time was during the pass in review (PIR) ceremony, when the "garage door" opens up.  The crowd goes WILD!

If you have any questions, I'd love to help.  I'm a Navy veteran myself.

Please like my group on facebook LINK, I'm just starting out and would love the support.

I also support “calls for recruits” from products sold on ETSY if you order soon I ship next day!

If you are traveling, wishing you a safe journey.

If you can't travel; be sure to watch the video link, it's the next best thing.

Hi Sosfirst - we made the hotel reservations at the Navy Lodge...I'm trying to get my husband to take the train as you suggested but it would take 15 hours to get there!!! I still haven't committed to flying as I may just drive if I can talk him into it. My sons name is Robert (Bobby). I wonder if they met each other? He called today and sounded great, but I knew something was wrong....he is sick and said many there are also...I asked how he liked it and he said it is interesting. I took that as if he does. He did say he was very homesick and I just encouraged him...What Is the Sarges meet & greet?
