Lyn, thanks for that information! I may need it. Ally, my son introduced me to that wild song about 5 years ago. I can't sit still when I hear it either.

Check out the New York and November links to see what's new. Or where I've had my grubby mitts. haha

PIcked up 21 pillowcases from crew members today.

Carolyn, sooner than later, please. haha. how's that for an answer? We are in the process of getting them to the "gatherer", as we are waiting to hear a date for delivery. so I'd like Ally to get them and be ready. WE are at 258! I believe there are still 3 or 4 that are planning to mail.
So Dori, that means that I could put my grubby mitts on a few haha.
Were you able to have our sailor vet sign one?

Lyn, I have a few contacts in the VA Beach area. I'll send out an email tonight and get back to you.

Was there a date to ship the pillowcases for the New York? I tried finding one but I got confused with First, Last, Previous and Next! Ugh.....

Dori, That's so nice of you but they don't want him to leave the Norfolk area in case they need him on short notice. He's a CTN and they have weird work requirements. So, he won't be able to get to Richmond.

LLove, My niece lives in Richmond, about an hours drive from Norfolk. That should be within the mileage limit for liberty. If you would like, I will contact her to see what she is doing. My youngest brother will be in Jacksonville, NC with his youngest son. Somehow, I think Maine is a bit far away. :-(

Did you put your request on Holiday Home for Sailors? I know there are moms all over the country that are willing to host a sailor. If I was closer I'd love to have your son here...but I'm about 7 hrs away. Good luck....Keep us posted!
