DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What hotel do you recommend to stay at while in Great Lakes, Illinois, for Navy recruit graduation?

Concha - Welcome to N4M's!

The graduation/PIR for December 20th is actually December 21st, Friday.

There was a mistake on some Form Letters. Do you happen to have a son in tDivision 803? That was the Division I believe that had mistakes.

Here is the link to the RTC Website that shows the correct date listed:

http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp  (clickable link...it will open into a new page)

Couple of things:

This is an open site so we recommend that you don't post your personal email publicly for safety reasons. You can read all about the Community Guidelines and OPSEC HERE .

You can edit your Blog by clicking "Options" at the top right, click "Edit Post", edit the material and click "Publish Post" at the bottom right.

Also, please join your PIR group for this date. There you can conenct with others who have recruits with the same PIR date. There are also "veteran"moms waiting to answer your questions. Lots of info on the GROUP.
