My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

<CJ's mom> I will pray for you. Try to be strong and know that you did what you thought was best for your child at the time. What more can a mother do? Hugs to you.

Oh I forgot... CJ texted me last night he is woosy and feels sick to his stomach. So I asked if he was eating and drinking enough. He said yeah  - everyone has the bug here mom...

Also pray for me... I placed a child up for adoption 33 years ago and we met about 5 years ago and he wants to talk to me tonight about his abandonment issues. Ugh! I have been crying all day... not sure I ready for this part ot happen.

I found a couple of boxers today but I felt they were too inappropriate for the Navy.

Still looking for some good ones. will check out a few local stores here.

Hi Salma, I've missed you.  :)  The big topic this week was boxer shorts.  lol  We have been sending fun ones to our sailors.

Anita and Maggie, I actually did ask my son if he wanted me to send him some funny boxers prior to sending them.  He said, "Of course, mom"  I figured it's their only creative way of expressing themselves while they are in uniform.  He enjoys getting them and said he can't wait to see the next pair.  :)

Maggie, Yay for Phase II!  Woohoo!

Anita, my prayers are with him.  ((hugs))

Hey there ladies!! I have been  keeping up with all the post and pics of the Boxers. They are so cute but my sailor would KILL me if I sent him a pair. On the other hand he would probably like the Cracker Jacks. Please say a prayer for my sailor, he may get his orders next week. He really wants the MWD(Military Working Dog). I would appreciate all the extra help> :) Hope all is well for you and your sailors. Prayers to you all :)

Hi Everyone  My son moved up to Phase II today.   YEA!  I have been reading all about the boxers.  HA!  I don't know what my son would think if I sent him a pair of boxers with popeye on them.   Where did you get the Cracker Jacks guy in the picture with the dog?
