My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Cindy, I just love your sailor and his cute little Pippen.   :)  Wow, I can't believe he will get his orders already.  What is his rate again?  That is so exciting!

Cindy, will do for sure.  ((hugs)) to you, sweetie.  Do you both have a webcam on your computers?  Skype is free if you.

Nanny2, what a sweet poem, thank you.

Thanks Betsy...Tell A to tell E to Call his Mom too while he's at it ;o) !!  I am going to have to invest in that sky-ping deal just haven't yet. Maybe that is what E will also get for Valentine's Day!

Its hard missing him, and he doesn't' seem to understand the magnitude of it.

((hugs))

Hi ladies...looks like you have all been quite busy! :) Things continue to go well for N...he just seems so happy there! He is sharing so much...where he sees himself in the NAVY in the future...his goals...is this my son???? He seems so mature...and then in some ways he is still just a goof ball!

Hope you all have a wonderful evening!

Wow, I guess I'm lucky that A has a small tush.  LOL

Lori, I looked at our K-Mart here and they had everything but Popeye.  I will have to order them too.

Nanny2, yes Navy4Moms is a public site.  We have to be careful not to mention first or last names on here for security reasons.

Cindy, YAY for E for eating healthy!.  I was just skyping with A while he was on his "lunch" break from class and he was sitting there eating an Easy Mac.  LOL  I guess the healthy food is out the window when you don't have that much time to eat.  I told A about playing pool with E and he said he will FB message him and ask him to do that.

Elizabeth, please keep us up to date on T's friend.  We can continue the journey again through him.  ((hugs))

Today was an awesome day!  A called me in the early afternoon (before class) and told me he got a 93% on a test that he thought he bombed.

This afternoon Fed Ex came and brought me the PIR dvd.  Woohoo! I am going to watch it tonight when my daughter is here.  Her bf is Navy, so she will probably like it too.

When I sat back down at the computer to post on here about that, A Skyped me.  He was on his "lunch" break.  He is always so upbeat and I love talking to him face to face.

Evening ladies! I am laughing so hard at all the post's...and Elizabeth once again you bring me to laughing tears! Hootie is too cute, and a great idea! I want one :) :)!!!

I cannot get out of my head, the vision of all the Sailors getting their Popeye Boxers around the same time, and quite possible a few at the same A School...and looking around at each other, like WTH!!! They do shower in the same place right, and sometimes a few at a time NOW, wouldn't that be a site to see LOL!!!!

I wanna try the cake in a jar, but I asked E how many boxes of Girl Scout Cookies he wanted...he said "None...I am trying to eat healthy, and all this food isn't helping!" :)!!!!

And OMG...didn't know these posts show up on google when you search them! Probably because we use "Popeye and Boxers" a LOT...and it searches the 'words' lol! Oh well, we are just a bunch of crazy chicks!!!

@Lori, I was finding that too, and spent half of Sunday looking online...all small sizes :(  But they sure were cute ones!

Comment by Lori_KingsBay_USSRI_Radio on January 25, 2011 at 5:48pm

I ordered the Popeye boxers from Kmart also; spent a good amount of time googling to find some neat Popeye boxers and, although many were found, all were a size small which won't work for my Navy Sailor.  I had them sent directly to him and will put together his Valentines Care Package minus them.  I hated to spend money sending them to me when they could go directly to him.  I think he will get a kick out of them.  Thanks for the idea ladies!

Elizabeth - I love the Owl; very clever - can you imagine all the places he will go!
