Since we are now able to send packages, wouldn't it be great if we shared our creative ideas of what we intend to send to our sailors?

My daughter is newly stationed at Goose Creek. I'm glad I found this site. My navigating skills around this area are rough. Any suggestions about how to communicate more efficiently?

Wendi, oh my! What kind of tattoo did she get?
Phoebe, ((hugs)) this site has been my lifeline since last June. :)
Hey Penny, ((hugs)) to your son Matt. I hope he feels better soon. I hope Cj's inspection goes well.
Talked to A tonight on Skype for almost an hour. He said they were just sitting around and watching the movie Inception. They went to the mall again today. One of his buddies has a Prius and he said that they have gone to the mall every weekend and haven't even used up a gallon of his gas yet. He looks good and says his classes of ATT are going well. He says so far, it's pretty easy
I texted Cj and he said they were having an inspection tonight. He said he would call later... I hope they do well.
My son Matt is sick - he usually gets a bad cold every year and well it has hit him hard. He has slept most of the day. I wish he had a job so he could pay for a Dr visit.... I am not able to help him. Ugh!!!!
Thanks for the encouraging stories and the blaming on the moon or PMS - I think it is because it is too cold and there is nothing left to blame stuff on. Blessings girl friends... :)
Hey Navy Moms! @ Elizabeth...once again Laughing (with tears) at your post (Thank you)! You blame emotions on the Full Moon...I blame them on PMS LOL!! I did the same thing this week...called the Car Insurance Agent, had to change vehicle coverage anyway, and yes, it was time to take E off my policy ;(...I was like you, avoiding it like the plague!!! I LOVE the Popeye Boxers idea...gave me the idea to look for some with Popeye for E, can I steel your idea... Mine won't be home made? :)!
@Betsy...Congrats (almost), that is so exciting! Sounds like they both have good solid plans for the future, happy for you. (Hugs)!
@Anita...Congrats to your Sailor on the Ribbon/pin Hoooooya!! I know exactly what you mean about them leaving base ...big deep breath In, ready? 1-2-3 INNNNNNNNN......OuuuuuuuuuT, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! :) !!
