So sad to hear the news of the Sailor who passed away.

Cj's Mom, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure it was hard for CJ not being home for that. I think Z is home sick too. He is calling a lot more now. He bought a computer that has a webcam. If Cj can get a webcam I highly recommend it!

Big Hugs for everyone!

Hello everyone...

I will be saying prayers for that missing sailor...oh that is just so awful!!!! Please keep us updated...nothing on the news???

Penny...as sad as you might be feeling...be happy that you are his "go to person!" CJ knows he can count on you...you can be strong for him...and then come here to let it all out! ((hugs))

N has been really excited about what they are doing in BESS. We had a long talk...sounds really good.

I haven't sent his xbox down yet and last night he told me he wasn't sure that he wanted me to send it...was afraid it might be a distraction....Whoa! Was this MY son?????? Of course he did follow with, "Well, I will need some entertainment..." I am going to hold off and see if he still wants it as he gets more and more into school.

Hope everyone has a good night...we are still battling terrible weather and I am personally still battling this sickness! YUCK!

Groton Penny :)

Sharon, so glad that you had a wonderful visit with your sailor.
Stacey, do I have to get A down there and make him Skype you again? LOL
Penny, ((hugs)) to you. I can imagine how that phone call tugged at your heartstrings. ((hugs)) I hope things were better for him today.
Wendi, that's awesome about H starting classes. Woohoo!

My prayers go out to the family of the sailor. Unfortunately, the outcome was very sad. :( ((hugs))

I got a text from Cj at 11pm - mom you still up .... Then I got a phone call. He was in tears. Missing home. A mother of a friend of ours passed away yesterday and I think Cj was a little sad over it...(I had told him about it eariler this evening)  Anyway he and I had to go through the list of family members and I had to report how they were doing. Especially his grandparents and his brothers. He always took things to heart and is sensetive to others hurts so I guess this hasn't changed. I didn't tell him about the missing sailor. I thought that might push him over and he would cry all night. I wanna cry to... nose is running. :) I really wanna hug my sailor.

I had a nice chat with TJ recently and asked why I haven't heard from him much and he said he bought an XBox and a TV.....duh, what was I thinking!! Of course that would be why he wouldn't be calling home just to say hi, he was busy shooting at imaginary Zombies and flying spaceships at warp speeds to save a fictional universe. LOL, boys will be boys. Gotta love 'em. I guess it could be worse.
