Kim- so glad that Rebecca got to see her son!!! The pictures are great! Chatted with Ben last night. Boy, is he ready to get off the ship. Everyone is getting excited & impatient. It can't come soon enough. Have you talked to Ethan lately? I'm sorry that you won't be seeing him as soon as we get to see our sailors. We will be thinking of him as he still making his journey. I'll show you the pictures of homecoming after we get home.
Linda- Hope to see you at homecoming. .
I may have been blinded by my excitement, but I didn't see any purple ribbons. : ( I had my niece and nephew draw me a purple ribbon and I pinned it on my shirt. I'll have them to another one and I'll start wearing it when I'm on the ship for the TC.
It was awesome watching the ship come in!!! We got rained on at least 3x before my daughter finally got off the ship. I was tired, hot and sore sitting there for what seemed like forever and didn't think I'd have any energy to greet her. Yeah right - I squealed and ran to her and squeezed her!!!!!! It is sooooooo good to see her!!!!photo.JPG
