Thank you all so much. My non-Navymom friends just don't seem to understand my excitement! Glad to have this place to yell.... "Just 13 hours until I see my boy! "

Our favorite place to go is in the White Mountains. Pinetop is the best and if you go there be sure to go to Charlie Clark's Steak house. Not cheap but worth it.

dooby1424...... so how are your klids ddoing? My daughter is actually 'still on the fence' .about enlisting. I told her I am proud of her whatever she chooses. I will support her. My son will attend machinist school after BC. My daughter definitely wants something in medicine.

No daughters here LindaB. My life, as is yours I am sure, is crazily fulfilled with excitement. Living in a small town, my boys are able to keep life interesting with motorcycles, longboards, BB guns, paintball guns, backyard bonfires, knife throwing activities, mud-bogging, sports, spontaneous campouts, and an ENDLESS line of friends dropping by just in time for dinner!

I am not sure why I worried about my son having possible difficulties in bootcamp?? Sounds like he breezed through it...other than the stress of being yelled at constantly. He finished Battlestations on Friday morning and called me at lunchtime with the news that he is now a United States Sailor! He said that bootcamp was fun!!!?? and he hopes his brothers will follow in his footsteps.

My family and I leave for Phx. tomorrow evening, and we fly out of Sky Harbor on Wednesday morning. (We made sure that we would be in Great Lakes plenty early for the Friday morning graduation.) We are all so excited! Yiiipppeeee;)

Hi Mickee6k. 5boys and one girl! Wow! But at least you have a girl. The only girl I have is my dog "Sweet Pea" My other dog is, of course, a male! LOL. You must have an awesome time during the holidays!
