sorry Susie, I wrote and then scanned the page. wrong answer. And I didn't get one of those pictures. We did go in the NEX, but my son was so anxious to get off base, he didn't want to wait in a line. oh well.

each sailor's case is different Susie. You need to check with your sailor about his orders and go by that. Some leave right after PIR for school-it just depends on their orders.

You have back problems and need support, sit at the top of the bleachers and then you can lean against the wall. That's what I did. Helped a lot!

Mo, sorry to hear about the food poisoning! yikes. And I just don't know what to say about the ugly side of divorce and life. My husband missed 30 years with 2 of his children from his 1st marriage because of the wife's ugly attitude. All you can do is pray about it and be ready when he contacts you.

I left about 1:30 and they had over $100. While I was waiting to get on Broadway I noticed 200 feet west of where the car wash was being held was Capin's Car Wash. I will address that issue with our 'boys' tomorrow! lol

Hi Tucson Area Moms:

Four of our Tucson recruiters are 'up' for Chief and are fund raising to pay for their 'pinning' ceremony and celebration.

If you're in the area and need a car wash, here's a nice way of showing our appreciation!!

What: Car Wash

When: Saturday & Sunday, August 29th & 30th from 9am - 2pm

Cost: Donation

Where: 7-11 Convenience Store on the SW corner of Swan & Broadway

And....

If you have access to Davis Monthan Base, here's another fund raiser:

What: Car Wash & Barbeque!!

When: Saturday, August 29th from 9am - 2pm

Where: Davis Monthan Commissary

And....

On Saturday, September 5th our chief selectees will be selling collected used household items at the Tanque Verde Swap Meet! If you have any items you can donate to a worthy cause, give Mark a call at 520-305-1836
