Hey AZ Navy Moms~ There is a wonderful concert this Sunday at 3 PM. It is very patriotic and many of us in the east valley are going. You won't be disappointed. If you have a veteran in your family (Dad, Granddad) and want to treat them to something special this would be a nice way to do it. It is being held at the auditorium in Lesiure World which is on Power Rd. just north of the 60-just past the mall. Tickets are $20 and here is the link for a preview. The Chander Children's Choir will be there and representatives of DAV, House of Heroes and Blue Star Moms of AZ.

Tim Maggert is a Veteran and an award winning songwriter and performer. You have to hear his Blue Star Mother song.... have a tissue ready.
He played at the National BSM Convention last year in San Franciso and is stopping here for one show. Hope you take the afternoon to see a wonderful patriotic event.
Not to leave out the other side of town! The next east side meet & greet (a regular, informal get-together over coffee) will be April 6th, 6:30 pm at AJ's Fine Foods, 1836 South Val Vista Drive (just south of Hwy 60), Mesa 85204.
Counting down to our next AZ Navy Moms luncheon/meet-up on February 22! Info and RSVP - http://navyformoms.com/events/arizona-navy-moms-luncheon-meet-up

Marcy, my son's enjoying the California atmosphere. So I'll be making plans in the upcoming month for our trip out that way to attend his graduation in March. Whoo-hoo!
Welcome! Hopefully someone can carpool with you to the luncheon! My son did FMTB at Camp Lejeune, NC, had a great time :)
Hello, I just signed up with Arizona Moms today, but I've been with N4M's since last January. My son will be starting FMTB in the few days or so in Camp Pendleton CA. It's been an exciting, emotional time, from the moment he left last January to boot camp to now, and I'm sure this ride will continue till he's done. I'm proud of him, and support him 100%.
I've not been on N4M for awhile, but I'll keep checking in. I'm going to try to attend the Feb. 22 luncheon in Phoenix. So if anyone up around my neck of the woods (St. Johns) would like to carpool, let me know.
Thank you!
