Hi all.. A reminder tomorrow is the navy mom luncheon at 12pm in Tempe on Ash ave and 3rd st ,,,at Macayo's .
Hope to see some moms there.

As to recruiter sons was a SSMall off Power Rd but he's no longer at that location.

And to Lainey .. I understand the tears ..it gets easier ..some move fwd faster than others ...I'm slow in that dept ..he was my baby and now my nest is empty.
Been one year on 26th been gone and haven't seen him since early Feb. ..I can't get used to not seeing kid but know he's happy so that helps tremendously.

Your pride will grow as time passes and you will get a call and letters starting hopefully around 3 wks into bootcamp..that helps too .

His accomplishments in one year help ease the pain too but I will never stop missing him at home !

Best thing is to find moms in same situation ..others don't understand .

Hi Staci - My sons recruiter ,Petty Officer Ball, is at the Mesa office (Power and Superstition Springs) and I must say anyone of them in that office are very professional and easy to talk to. The day that we first went in there we spoke with Petty Officer Hunter and he was very knowledgable and encouragable of my sons decision to join. Not sure where you are located but I hope this helps.
