Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So excited ladies! Going to fly my kiddos to spend the summer in AZ which means that I'll get to fly back at the end of summer so I'll see my new nephew TWICE! Plus next Christmas as my uncle is planning on coming from FL and I promised that I would bring the kids out no matter if hubby is pushing or not. He's fine with it, it's not like he was home this Christmas!

NanaDonna- yes, we know Metcalf and it has gotten a little bigger over the years even though they took away our Dairy Queen! My sister just bought a house in York and her MIL lives in Duncan. Sis is a teacher at the elementary school in Morenci now. Which park are you talking about in Clifton? the Veterans park or the big kids one near the pool? That one is pretty awesome.

NanaDonna... my mother in law lives just outside of Marana. We were just there last weekend!

Saipan - I know exactly where Morenci is and have been there a lot of times. My husbands Dad was born in a town called Metcalf which was very near Morenci but is no longer there, mostly buried by the tailing from the Morenci mine, have you heard of Metcalf? I also know where York and Duncan are and have been to both, my husband's Uncle lived in York. Another of his Uncle's build that big park in Clifton I bet you have been there. ha ha.
We live in a town called Marana (Kathey might be the other "M" ton you are thinking of)and it is a suburb of Tucson.
