Sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday.  Usually on Sundays, I am downtown or east valley-ish so I will be able to make it.  Yesterday, I wasn't.  So I have it on my calendar for the Sunday, Aug. 5th meetup.  I'm looking forward to meeting you then!

Welcome KyrieJoinsUp!  Not that I’m aware of - so why not start one up?  Maybe ask your sailor’s recruiter to help you get in touch with other moms?

Thanks for the update, hoping to make it on Sunday.

OK, the 1st Sunday of the month East Valley gathering is going to be at 5:30pm (not 6:30) and due to the heat we are moving it around the corner to the Panera Bread. It is still in the same shopping center.

Here is the street address to put in your GPS

3426 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204

We will have a table in their back room.  Come have dinner, dessert or just a cold drink!

RaksAndRoll-yes we will be meeting on the patio of AJ's unless we post differently.  It's funny, we always find each other. Just look for a group of women sitting together and some will probably have a Navy shirt etc on.

AZNavyMom00-sent a friend request to ask you something through private message. :)

Since some of you Moms & Loved Ones have been in the Navy yourselves, is there anything you can safely say about what our daughters/sons should expect when they get to BC?  Any experiences, good/bad/ugly that you recall that you feel like sharing?  It's difficult to no know what my girl will be going through when she finally gets to BC.

Thanks.

So this coming Sunday is 7/1.  Is there a meetup at AJ's in Dana Park?  How will I find you?  I wouldn't want to crash the wrong group! :)

Hi, I’m Janet and my son just left for BC on 6/26. So glad to find this group. I’m in Gilbert

Don't forget the 1st Sunday of the month all are welcome to join the east valley Navy moms for coffee at AJ's Fine Foods in Dana Park Square at the corner of ValVista Dr. and Baseline!  6:30 pm!  We sit on the patio, last month by then in the shade with the misters it was pleasant.  If it gets too hot we move around the corner to the Panera Bread (still in the same shopping area but faces Baseline instead of Val Vista)

Saw this a laughed out loud!!
