Welcome Robin! I am in Maricopa (Pinal County) but I used to live in Tucson. This site will help you SO much. I hope that someday we can meet. There are 2 Navy moms from Tucson who are on the Japan mom's page..Maybe we can get you all connected.

HI from Tucson - I am a new Mom to all this. My son is at Great Lakes, a little over a week now. His PIR is 12/21 :-) SO excited to see this!!!! On Saturday I was driving down Oracle in Tucson and saw a truck with the "I am a proud parent of a Sailor" bumper sticker and wanted to yell - ME TOOOOO! hahahaha, but I didn't! Looking forward to meeting up with all you Arizonans on here!!!!! :-)

Jane, thanks so much! My son is going in undesignated also. For now anyway. What is a BM? Still learning Navy abbreviations :)  Let me know what Stephanie has to say. I'm trying to find out all I can about where is he is going to be and what it's like. I guess it's just the mom in me still kicking in...
