The USS Hue City is a cruiser in the same group with the Eisenhower. Both ships pulled into port last night for a liberty call. I got a call from my son at 5AM today. He was glad to be on land for how ever short of a time they are. This is his first deployment and first duty station after A and C school.

My son is in the same group on the Hue City.  One of the things he asks for alot are snacks and books.   I would love to help with anything I can.  I travel alot for work so and have alot of the hotel bottle sized lotions. Another really good idea is Micheal's and Target have $1  bins with alot of diff things to choose from.  Amandamomof4 I also live in the west valley.

Thanks for offering;-)!
I just got back from Fry's. They have Kroger sunscreen for $.99 instead of $2.00. I bought all they had which was about 20. And they have Matchbox cars for $.79 instead of $1.50 so I bought a bunch of them also. Thought I would hit up dentist for toothbrushes, paste and mouthwash.;-) thinking to make 50 bags or more by watching for sales.

I would be happy to host a workday. I live in Surprise so any west valley ladies that want to get together and do this? I even have some priority mail boxes specific to APO/FPO they are about $15 to ship.

This will be fun...I still do stockings for my kids ages 26 and 32 and whoever else is here for Christmas morning! And still do the same stuff...cars, puzzle books, crayons/pencils and whatever else I find that was fun when little. I forgot cars not long ago and was chewed out...lol! Christmas magic!
