Hi robin! Now we just need to make about 3,000 more....go us! This seems like something we should work on year round so we can give/do more. I did sign up for proect on pats page, but have not committed to an amount. Guessing maybe 50? Would be fun if we could get together as group and have some work days, possibility maybe? Hmmmmm!

I am going to start looking for stuff today! Yours look terrific, don't know if mine can be that cute but will be fun to help. Very sad that so many didn't receive things last year, hopefully the ones that did shared a lil of their bounty;-)!
Thanks for bringing project to our attention! And, happy Friday everyone!!!

What a great idea!
And, sounds like the veteran finally will be laid to rest. I drove to Chandler Monday and made donation.....every little bit helps I am sure! I can't see on the Tri-Valley when burial will be without giving subscription $......:-(, but was able to see that it appears to be soon.

All you Navy Moms out there I am asking for your help.  Below you will find a story in a local Arizona newspaper.  There is a WWII Navy Vet & his 95 year old wife that need our help.  Please dig in your pockets and donate to get this American Hero laid to rest.  You can call Heritage Funeral Home at 520 723 7755 and make a donation.  Every penny counts.  Thank you!

Are there any officer moms in this group? I'm just wondering. Not only am I a proud navy officer mom-I am also a proud enlisted (retired) wife. My son is a navy nurse at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He has been in the D.C. area about 16 months and seems to like it there very much except for the traffic. I am nurse also and live on the west side of the valley.
