Love the pics, also. Just started checking flights for Charleston for Power School graduation in November - hard to believe he's been in for over a year. Still tear up when I read the posts about PIR.
Love the pictures Jane, MM Mom. I can't imagine what all will happen in the next 2 years. Always a Mom I talked to my sailor tonight and told him I missed his letters! It's nice that he can call from his Aschool. I think he is finally getting "classed up" tomorrow so maybe classes will start on Monday.
I am excited to announce that I am working to start a Pinal County Chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America! If you are not familiar with this incredible organization, take a moment and visit, www.bluestarmothers.org. In a nutshell, We are mothers (grandmothers, step-mothers, foster-mothers or legal guardians) of Military Service Members.
In order to start the chapter I need 5 women that would not only be interested in joining but also serving as an officer. I would like to set up a informational meeting in late August to get the ball rolling. With the upcoming holiday season approaching, I would like for us to make our name with serving our service members. Please email me at Victoriamartin08@ymail.com and put Blue Star Moms in the subject line.
