Hi Sarah my son is leaving for bootcamp in Oct. He will be going in for subs too.
You have cute stuff Navymom2008 do you do things for other branches too, i know some air force and army wives/mothers that might like your stuff too
Victoria...I missed your link...can you send it to me or repost...I'd love to see Navy Mom stuff!
Hello ladies! My name is Victoria and I am not only a Navy Vet and Proud Navy Mom, but I am also the gal behind Diva Flip Flops & More! I am so excited to be part of this group. So many of you "liked" my flip flop page and I thank you so much! I am busy making a ton more new Navy Mom hairclips, flip flops, necklaces, and now even purses and PIR flowers. I hope to meet more of you very soon!
Raca..... How cool! When my sailor was at BC I lived for Wednesdays/Fridays...letters from him. My son was a stick also! He carried the WI flag. His best buddy carried NH (my homestate) My son wanted to trade ((:
I recieved my letters today! My son is doing great. He says the first day was the worst with non-stop yelling and no one able to do anything right. He says now he passes inspections almost perfectly each time, does well at marching and has developed a routine to his days. He is in good spirits and is a stick (flag bearer) which he seems to like. His Div has lost 7 and may loose 7 more and they are hoping they pull through. He misses his music and even arguing with his siblings (LOL) and just being home. Can't wait to see him on the 31st!
Thanks to Jane and Denise for arranging such a nice lunch. It was great to be with other women who have navy kids. I hope we can meet more often and hear how each others kids are doing and be a support to each other.
Okay I feel REALLY bad....I had told a new Navy mom that I woiuld post the info about the low cost storage place in GL. I cannot find it anywhere! SORRY )):
Thank you Jane for all your hard work planning the luncheon! Denise thank you for finding and arranging Seasons52! It was wonderful.
It was so nice being with moms who understand how we are all feeling. It is amazing to get a group of women together, who for the most part have never met. But instantly we connect through our children. We laughed together and at times had tears in our eyes for each other because our Navy Mom hearts understands. God bless you all, and all our sailors!
