Hi Jane...and everyone!  Yes...I am looking forward to the get-together on July 22!  Count me in!
So sorry about the delay in responding. Time on the computer has been limiited...have been on a jury for a trial that started on June 4 and will go to Sept. 6. Yup, it's a long one!  So have to play catch up with emails and such on weekends. I'm used to being a night owl, but this has changed my schedule...it's like having a part time job! lol. Very interesting though and glad I got the opportunity to do it.
Christian's ship just got back in port (Sasebo) after being out for a couple months. He is still happy and  loving what he's doing...so that makes me happy!
Really looking forward to spending time with everyone! See ya then!
And thank you again Jane for organizing this for us.

Thanks Micka! I know that space is limited so I'm not taking much. Battlestations is Mon or Tues. We're hoping for that call!

@ Nancy I took cell, laptop and girlfriend lol. They cannot wear civ clothes anywhere but your hotel room. I mailed some to him at A school when he could wear them. As far as eating ( I am from IL) any Chicago style pizza is good but if you go into the city ( a train at the base will take you) go to the oven grinder on Carter st. Will probably have to take a taxi after you get to city but very good.
Congrats to your sailor!!
