Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

NEXT COFFEE MEETUP IS APRIL 2ND, 2017!

Monthly Navy Moms & loved ones get together usually the FIRST SUNDAY of the month, 6:30 pm, at the AJ's at 1836 S Val Vista Dr in Mesa for coffee and chat - always fun!

Blue Star Mothers of Maricopa meet the second Monday each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce conference room, 44870 W. Hathaway Ave. #5, Maricopa AZ 85139.

What time do they meet by chance? I will also request acceptance into the Az page! PIR 7/25 will miss Macayos unfortunately this time but will try to make it the next!

Macayo's on Central has given us a private room for our event. We also have a few options: for 30+ people, it's only $15.00 per person includes everything but alcohol, with three items to chose from, all the beans and rice, drinks, tip and fee for the room. For a group fewer then 30 people. it will be what ever you want.

There is a group of Navy moms in the area that meet the 1st Monday of the month at the AJ's Fine Foods store at ValVista and Baseline south of the 60 for coffee, soda and some even grab a dinner from their deli. Also on Facebook there is a Proud Navy Moms of Az group. Sarah is the monitor and can accept you into the group. It is a closed group which helps many of us feel safer about being on it. There are moms there that can help you with your interest in the Adopt the Sailor program. Also, there is an East Valley Blue Star Mothers, Chapter 5 whose main mission is sending care packages all year to deployed troops and supporting our Veterans . You can see their info on their webpage. (They meet every 4th Thursday at 6:30pm at the BassPro Shop) There are quite a few Navy moms in that Chapter. So there are several oppportunities for you in the east valley.
