Hello All, talked to my son last night he is so upset they just told him he has to go there medical clearance now before he goes over seas.. so now he is running around all over getting signatures to get his paperwork all done! Staying after school to catch up with some class work he missed yesterday morning, I just don’t understand why they didn’t tell him s little sooner even though he new himself all this needed to be done . But his sponsor kept telling him no you have time!!! Boy was he wrong !! Now my son can’t come home on 8/2 which we were all excited now I’m not sure when he will come home for a quick visit before he goes to his next place!! All his roommates and friends all are ready to go after graduation & he has to finish up with medical just don’t understand!! Just frustrating!!

Allison I'm glad things are back to Normal for you, and Glad Hubby is back to normal and doing well and Has all these opportunities going for him.

Good! MidPCS at the moment. My husband is getting out early, a blessing and a curse really. It’s scary to go back to the civilian world and do everything on our own again, but he’s got a lot of really good contracting and job options, and we won’t have to keep moving. He just had surgery, which I didn’t get to be there for since I came back early, and it was a surprise after other treatments didn’t work, but he’s completely recovered now and back at work until his class to help the transition starts next week.

Yes they have it posted, my Son took a Picture and texted it to me. Hi Allison, how are things going? Hope all is well!

Supermom, it should be posted on the quarterdeck of his ship (barracks). He can also ask another sailor or his NMTI.

How do I get the address for my son for letters as well as packages?  He asked me to mail him something, but doesn't know his address.

Comment by Phoenixmom on July 16, 2018 at 12:43pm

TxMom they have actual addresses to their BEQ. My Son had to send me his address in order for me to send a Package to him.

Is there a generic address for A school in Great Lakes that I can maybe just fill in the blanks so we can go ahead and ensure she get's her BakeMeAWish cake on Wed?

She starts OS A school Monday, 7/23 so this is great

Comment by taniab on July 13, 2018 at 12:52pm

Wanted to let everyone know that BakeMeAWish is fantastic!  It is a little pricey, but they were easy to work with, plus every purchase goes toward helping support the military.  My son just called and said the lava cakes we sent are delicious.  His birthday is today and he enjoyed the special delivery for lunch.
