Starchild, how exciting!! I had to go to work the next day so I couldn't stay up all night like I wanted. I am sure your sailor will do great and you'll get your "I'm a Sailor call tomorrow. You will probably get your call tomorrow afternoon or evening. It's blue candle time!!

Just received word that 4 of the divisions are going through BS21 NOW! 005-008 It would have started about 2 pm local time and will finish at a staggard time between 12 - 2 local time.

PIR tonight. I am sooo nervous. My husband prepared a wonderful supper and I can't eat. I know I will not be able to sleep tonight. I feel like a school girl getting ready for her first date. Awwwww!

Anti M.
My husband does our grocery shopping too. We have always cooked together as a family. My husband has always been a hard worker. He works 18 hour days at time. Sometimes the 18 hour days have made me sad, but I would rather have my hardworking husband than one who is Lazy!!

j-mom, the Navy is full of wonderful young men, just waiting to meet wonderful young women. Duds tend to get left in the dust! Yep, my ex was lazy as could be. we were both supposed to re-enlist and pick up the big bonuses. I went first, then he said, "No, I think I'll just work on my music instead." Not like he did housework, or shopping, and he wanted his own bedroom. Grrrr.

Hubby went to the produce stand for me yesterday while he was out on other errands, picked up all our veggies for the big dinner, then got them chopped and stored so I wouldn't have to later. I mean, how many guys would do that?

StarChild, I am glad to hear that he will be going. He would be so sad if he missed his brothers PIR. It's a once in a lifetime event. I will pray that everything will be ok when he returns. I am sure it will be. Bosses like that are often not organized and don't know why they decide things to begin with.
I hope you both have a wonderful and safe journey to PIR.
Sandy:)

AntiM, your post to Lori was awesome, my daughter's boyfriend is a dud (nice boy but LAZY LAZY) and he just got sent home on a medical (during processing wk) the Navy was his last chance to BE something. I know it sounds harsh but i am SO hoping she meets a motivated young man with goals while she's in and leave the dud behind...
