rockwido,
I think that rule only applied while they were on liberty after bc.

Yeah, I have been hearing the same thing in my son's voice, too...Now that they are thru with indoc and are starting training again at his ASchool he sounds a little more "up".

kylesmomkaren I am in the same situation with my son. He graduated bc on 11/5 and has not started class yet....every time I talk to him he sounds a little depressed also. He said he is tired of doing just busy work and is ready to get on with it. I have tried to tell him to be patient, but after bc I think it is hard for them to adjust to so much down time...

Thanks, BDM. Just don't ask his mother. And I do adore him. He's been gone three weeks now and I am going crazeeee... good thing we've had plenty of practice at this.

Mom and dad were together over 60 years, and he spent 29 of those in the Navy. I had a very good example set for me.

Sharon, I only found better once... I just tried the wrong one first. Like a warm up game in bowling. He was great until we married. I don't get why some people act one way to catch a girl, then revert back to bad habits the moment she is legally bound to them. He had me completely fooled. I did find a stud after the dud, a real gem of a man. I'm fat and old now and he still thinks I'm the most beautiful woman on earth. And he can shop with a list and coupons, and does housework! He's tidier than I am. And he loves to give me gifts of jewelry, and we love to spend time together. And he doesn't watch sports on TV ever, he'd rather chop wood or make candles or go shopping with me. I know, right?!

Thanks Anti-M hahaha Maybe I won't risk sending flowers... hmmmm have to think of something else! Sorry it didn't work out with the boyfriend lol but see you found better, 2 times! hahaha

lori, it is exceedingly common. I did it twice. (LOL) Think about it, young people in close proximity, motivated, with goals, usually in shape and plenty of money to enjoy themselves, and they meet someone similar? oh yeah, it happens.
Comment by lori on November 18, 2010 at 8:51pm
But yet you met your husband in the Navy! Is that common- to meet another military person and get married?
Comment by Anti M on November 18, 2010 at 8:20pm
No, and I did get replacements. They were from my boyfriend who had just transferred. We never did see each other again. Thar's fairly common, A school BF/GFs who become history when the orders come in.
