I live in UT too! Takes about three days, but be aware the packages do not always go directly to the sailor; they go to the mailroom. Then the sailor must get time to go to pick them up.

Just an update on Tyler...he's loving Gulfport...it's great to have him so close..he's been home the last 2 weekends....he got his new truck this weekend...so I won't have to make that trip to Gulfport twice every weekend now....He loves his job as a Gunner's Mate.

Hello all,
I am going to visit my husband in March for the weekend. I put in a reservation at the DOD housing on base. My husband went by there to check on it and they told him no students were allowed to stay there even if they are in phase 2.So they are saying he cannot stay overnight with me. My question is how would they knowif he is a student. Has anyone stayed there?

Hi all my husband PIR'd Feb 5th moved over to A shool tuesday the 9th. He just finished INDOC this week and is scheduled to begin A school tomorrow. We will see if he starts tomorrow, I have just adjusted and learned patience it truly is a virtue in this military life. Also he is GSM and scheduled to be done end of April if he starts friday without a hitch and no holds in between it seems he will be right on schedule...my fingers are crossed

CSMom;
Give your darling Star War Fan a big hug for me, and enjoy having her home for leave.
To the new moms;
Welcome. My guy PIR'd 12/4 and went to A school the following Wednesday, did INDOC, then had the two week holdiay standdown and started his beginning classes on January 4. He is a GSM and took his 3rd test and passed on Tuesday. He didn't have any holds between BC and A School, he has had a one week medical hold when he turned his ankle, he is still on schedule to graduate A school by the end of March.
