Mama Bear.    sorry to hear the news.  A couple of guys I work with were stationed in Bahrain.....they say it was the time of their lives and absolutely beautiful.  They always told me to encourage Chris to go there.    I wonder if you can visit him in San Diego while he is in C school?

Jan, glad you are back! Here in California the weather has been perfect I hope it stays.

We have been waiting for Nathan to have leave after A school. They told him he would have 8 days leave before he had to report to San Diego. We were expecting him home tomorrow....then yesterday they told him that his ship was not in port...that it was in Bahrain and he was not having leave...that they were flying him strait to Bahrain to join his ship :( then within the hour they changed his order...still NO leave but now he is going to C school still in San Diego then they will fly him out to Bahrain to join his ship. I sucks that we won;t be able to see him...and I am not happy with the idea of him being in Bahrain.... :(

Janet- glad you are back. There is nothing like being home when you are feeling sad.

Angie- Chris is feeling better. He constantly complains about the bugs.lol...and now that Alyse s home I have a feeling he will be much better.

One of his buddies girlfriends came down for the Easter holiday so they shang highed her car and went sight seeing and out to eat.  He also told me that he is applying for his fishing license so he can fish ofoast Gaurd pier. Sounds right up his alley.......

We are planning, God Willing to visit for two weeks in October, but I think maybe a long weekend getaway is in order.

Oh and Ang...I do the same with the change. I saved for a month (boys are always leaving change int heir pockets) and just cashed it in. 109 bucks WOW...I joined a morning "boot camp" it is for the month of May three times a week. I need to lose some weight, so the change paid for it....yipee..

Janet, it's GOOD to have you back...sorry you came home to such yucky weather...it's pretty warm here..warm enough for all of the lovely, well-loved(HA) bugs to be out and biting!! Are you doing ok? You will have good times and there out of the blue, will come the tears...but, like I said before it's ok...we will always be right here with listening ears...and YES, I want to be where COLBY is too!!!! LOL, Lord willing I'm going....several of my B'day gifts were $$ for my Hawaiian Honeypot..and just like when I was saving $$ for PIR, if it's left laying around or found in the dryer etc...IT"S MINE!!! I have no pity for anyone's wallet right now...except my own (cause it's empty) LOL...we have  wedding we're paying for right now too...

Kelly, has Chris complained about the bugs yet?? Is he getting a little more adjusted?

Hey everyone--thanks SO MUCH for all the comments and wishes..OMG, you have no idea how nice it was to get home and read them all. I was supposed to be back on Friday night, but i wasnt prepared for what i was walking into when i got to Arizona..:(

Im so thankful that i was able to extend my stay and take care of everything that needed to be done, WOW...what a shocker. It all happened so quickly.

Thank GOD for nurses!! Seriously, one of the nurses stepped up to the plate and ignored protocol and called me and my sisters to let us know we should fly down there.

We have been so fortunate, as we have never had to deal with a death in our immediate family, and it was AWFUL. Not to mention all the details that need to be taken care of. Being so far away just made it so much harder, still tying up loose ends.

I keep breaking down, and then i think of Coles mom and all she has been dealing with, how strong she has been while having to deal with one of the worst things i can possibly think of, the death of a child, and im able to pull it together for a while.

You ladies are the strongest women i know..seriously. And im thankful to know each and everyone of you. You guys are TRULY good people. THANKS SO MUCH!!

And how about my hubby???..lol SO SWEET. I told you all he was a terrible speller..haha! He texted me and asked me how to spell the word 'prayer', but i was so busy, i never thought to ask why, and then i see his post on FB...lol

I think he missed me.

Angela- Colbys pics are amazing!! If i was you, i would be planning my trip there already..lol And im sorry that you received more bad news. Wishing all is well.

Really..thanks to you all. Im home and ready to get my mind and thoughts onto brighter things...so lets get to chatting...lol!!
