OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Shelly~~We are also on Facebook under: N4M's 2-4-11 Alumni.  We are planning a reunion trip for just us 2-4-11 Navy Mom's.  We are calling it "Navy Mom's Gone Wild Weekend".  We are meeting in the middle of the country to be fair to everyone for traveling.  It is going to be September 2012 so we have time to save money for the trip.  We really would like to see everyone come.  Hope you can make it.

i called my local paper and was told the Navy takes care of all of that And THEN...the next day.there was an article in the paper stating the rules of listing military info..hahaha!  They must have felt the need to publish t after my call...lol

Anway..the town i have as my address is so tiny, that i never get their paper. Its so small. Thats not the paper i subscribe to, so if it was in there..i would have never known...:((
