Hi Girls! Kim you should've been a travel agent or a professional party planner. lol What we need is a day spa, a nice rest. with great food. I think we all need to express what we would all be interested in as a group. Kim, I'll be a roomy with ya! Heck we could travel together out of Phila. Int. I don't think we would stop talking the entire way out and back! lol For me anything but summer is better, its very hard to get vacation time then where I work.

Jan how did the sale of the equipment go? How is the job? How are your little witches? lol

Barb should be back from her trip today, she was driving home yesterday. I guess when she finally has dry eyes she will be able to get on here and type. lol

Roanna is getting her Sailor tomorrow I believe! Poor boy is going to have the stuffins squeezed out of him, she's a hugger, and not a light hugger either from what she has expressed. lol

Kelly I am so glad you finally had time off and away from the misery of the job. Much needed physical/mental rest I am sure.

Josephina Jan is right, Nate is such a wonderfully polite young man. You did a great job MOM!

Well time for me to get ready and go into the Demonic Realm that is still holding my paycheck hostage! Have a great day everybody!

Okay...I measured the map of our fantastic United States and the exact middle of this grand place is Wichita, Kansas!  It's the only fair thing to do until we see whom comes from where.  I am researching Wichita and what it has to offer.  So far some things we might be interested in would be The Sedgwick Zoo, The Wichita Gardens...  I personally have not been that far west...has anyone been to Wichita?  I need some feedback so I know how to plan this trip for us.  Does everyone want to share a room?  Is summer a good time to go?  Anyone have any physical restrictions?  Plus I would need a commitment of who is attending.  Please let me know what you think.

Barb---have a good trip and enjoy your time!!

Angela--hope you had a good flight, and keep us posted...i miss you!

Janie---what a good idea for us all to send something to all of our sailors...let me know and keep me posted. i know they love getting care packages, and to get a bunch of them would be awesome.

Josefina---i LOVE the fact that Nate is friending us on FB...he is such a great kid. I enjoy keeping up with him..LOL!

Hey everyone!!! I'm here in Norfolk!! I ended up getting a room at the Navy Gateway Inn & Suites. It's nice...but the problem is that when I take Bran to meet with his Petty Officer at 5am so that he can check in I can't get back on base without him. They would give me a temporary pass with him sponsoring me but say that even with the temp pass he would still have to be with me being that they are on HIGH alert now. So we will be transferring to the Navy Lodge. I don't want to have to drive to far to get him when he calls and this is a couple of miles away from the base. I guess I should have gone there from the beginning like I did at the Great Lakes. It was extremely clean and the employees there were all great! Well better go!! Gotta get up at 4am!! Sweat dream everyone!

You girls make me laugh! Kelly thanks for the info on where the ships go.Jess is looking so forward to graduating C School and coming home then finally starting her NAVY career. She is a girl that needs action, always needs to be doing something or helping someone.

Jan you are so cute, enjoy that paycheck girl, YOU EARNED IT! And yes it was probably I that made our Sailors sick. Through mental telepathy and sending MOM love, hugs and kisses they got the virus. lol I on the other hand am feeling GREAT! After taking the horse pills the doc gave me it knocked it right out. Just as I knew it would. Thanks for your concern.

As for all our Sailors I truly hope they feel better soon. Kelly I feel for you, its our instinct as the loving, caring mothers we are to want to be there and take care of them and it hurts so bad when we can't. That hurt and and worry had me out of control during battlestations and knowing my daughters knee was so badly injured. But our kids are tough and they are NAVY STRONG! but they will always be our babies.

Kelly I don't envy your job or the negative side of it. It takes a special Angel such as yourself to do what you do. Being the compassionate person you are I am glad that you are the one chosen to go to the family when it involves news like that. You can offer the sensitivity and compassion for the family in their time of sorrow. And although it may not be easy on you, take comfort in knowing that those families that you have helped are lucky in having you care for them and their loved ones in the critical time. I hope I am coming across to which one can understand.

Angie I love to fly! I always have. I live nearby the Atlantic City Airport and when the planes fly overhead I always like to wonder where they are going, is it someplace nice and sunny and warm or is it to visit loved ones, etc...I am always in awe that something of that much weight can fly. Truly another miracle of God. Enjoy your trip and wear depends when you fly! lol...

Kim I can't wait for our girls weekend. It will be nice to get together. I have often wondered what all of us could do or send to each others Sailors. I just sent Jess fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and she and the others are emailing me telling me how awesome and amazing the cookies are and thanking me. I told her to tell any of her friends if they want me to send them a care package to email me their address and it will be sent. Makes me feel good that they are enjoying them so much.

Well girls I will close for now, I look forward to hearing from ya'll!

Angie you are funny. I love to fly! I love take off the most. I always l
