For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Congratulations JerseySusan - September is a wonderful month for babies (my daughter just celebrated her 9th on the 5th and she is truly a blessing to us all). And so happy your son made it home safe and sound. Such a great feeling!

Just need to drop a quick line here. Our son arrived safe & sound last night @ his home base in the states from deployment!! WAHOO WAHOO WAHOO!!!!!!......AND.....Our daughter brought our "5th" grandson into the world last night as well!! Needless to say....We are all so Blessed and very busy right now!! :)

Mom? emotional? aw tell me it ain't so! And I know exactly what you're saying...when my son was deployed, right before he was due to leave, they bombed Syria...near his main command post. I just knew it was all going to hell. He came home on time! I asked him about that and all he said was that he went out earlier with Navy Seals...I asked what were Navy Seals doing there...he said "measuring sand". Can't get squat of them! Hang in, hang on and remember we're here.

Thank you all for your prayers. B/c Jonathan is special ops, when his team deploys, they all get separated & dispersed to different countries & locations. However, when they are state side, they train as one whole team. As of right now, they are all just around the corner from coming home. I always say, it's the last count down that makes it the most critical. This is actually when I get the most nervous. You here so many times, how long they have been gone & they only have so many days or weeks before their homecoming. Sometimes I wonder if they are all so excited that they made it so far, that maybe some of their focus & guard comes down slightly. Just me thinking. I haven't heard from him. I touched base through a private message. I can be a very emotional person, and he knows that. It's better this way until he makes it back. We've been around his Cap't on 3 occasions, and we know just how much admiration he felt for him. Will keep you all updated on our son's return which will be soon.
