OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If I set the date for Gloria's Little Italy, (on the corner of University and Center--diagonally across from the now burnt out tabernacle in Provo) for 12:30 on January 22nd,  who could attend?

I was in AZ with no comp for Christmas.  Okay, How about we meet at Gloria's Little Italy in Provo for lunch on a Saturday?

We really need to set a day to meet and do it . . . is there somewhere that is central to everyone? I'm in SF. I work on school days.

Welcome, hang in there.

The group isn't that active, as you can see!

Will spend the day with my Matthew @ MEPS, then off to basic for him.

My hubby, who is a Navy vet, makes small Blue Star candles for Navy moms. We don't sell them, but do take a small donation to cover supplies and possibly shipping. Or not, if you can't afford it. I need a long head's up on requests, his schedule is unpredictable. But they are nice. We're up in Ogden.

Saturday or a Monday of a three day weekend. Maybe we should try the restaurant at Thanksgiving point, since that is more central.

Dare we try again to have a meet up? Would someplace a little farther north, like Thanksgiving point, work better?
