Dor-Thanks so much! I'm nervous for Prototype, but for now, we're just enjoying grad hold. I still haven't figured out how this all works though. So your son was able to graduate early from prototype? How does that work?

Thanks Dor! Hoping we get the same luck. He's got motivation to get all the points he needs in a day, he's just having trouble proving that he knows the information well enough to get a signature. I'm hoping that this week goes better. Just starting week 2!

elizabeth- Rosko only barks whenever I'm telling him "No" if he's being bad. It's like him saying "no" right back. It becomes quite the stand-off lol. I also found out that he's afraid of the dark. Last night he barked at the trash can and recycle bin until I turned on the light (mind you, this is 3am) and held him while he inspected it. Quite the protector (insert eye roll). 

 

nvmomma- idk if this would work for you, but when I accidentally dyed all my whites blue, I soaked them in a tub of borax and water for a day. Got all the blue out, maybe it would work for sweat stains? I also love Clorox 2.

Oh Mn Linda I am soooo sorry.  My friends dog had lymphoma and is actually in remission.  It is amazing what they are doing now but the cost is sooooo prohibitive.

Emily,

Make playdough...google recipe with corn starch and oil.  Fill large container with water and put a meat baster and big spoons and lots of plastic measuring cups and bottles in it, finger paint.  Or you could let them paint eachother with washable water colors in the bath tub. (My kids loved this!)  Put pots and pans on kitchen floor with wooden spoons and put aprons on them.  Make hats out of newspaper.  Let them water color them.  Let them water color coffee filters...I could go on... I will later.

shauna that to me sounds amazing! something i may have to try one night. do you sautee it all together? the bright side to practicing stuff by cooking for myself is whenever the bf gets a free weekend and can come crash at my place to get away from base i get to surprise him with new recipies instead of using him as a guinny pig (which i have done a few times)

nvmomma, it depends on the fabric whether the stains can be removed -- some fabrics actually change color and you can't fix it.  I've found that if I pre-wash my light clothes in Tide with bleach and then run them through a normal wash, it gets rid of most stains and ring around the collar.

Okay, this may be TMI and not a Navy related topic, but does anybody know a way to get rid of deodorant stains that WORKS?? I am ruining all my clothes!
