Emily~Just catching up.  I went to the college of  my dreams freshman year; more expensive, far from home...but, wanted to go.  I did my freshman year bcs it was liberal arts and I knew I couldn't my degree there.  Transferred back to state school but have never regretted money or time I spent there.

Oldest daughter had full ride +++ to state school but wanted to go somewhere else.  We talked, I encouraged here to stay where there was no cost, she went.  5 years later her debt is paid off and she has her dream job.

So much to consider, good luck!!

PS  Aaron would love being fought over lol

I won't lie... There are times when I get jealous of the little booger. Like when she crawled onto his lap, looked me straight in the eye, and shouted "MY BOYFRIEND!" right before sticking her tongue out at me. Or when he walked in the door one day and before he could even say hi, she had invited him up to "her room." He wasn't quite sure how to handle that one... Mom said it was okay since her daddy wasn't home. :)
Oh well. Before my niece and nephew Aaron wanted nothing to do with kids... He's definitely warmed up to the idea of having kids someday. :)

Mary, I can see it now.  Emily and her niece fighting for attention from Aaron!  :D  Well, I am guessing that Emily would be sitting back and chuckling.

bobbysproudmom- You can get a two, three or four bedroom place. You can sleep 2 to a bed... I would have no problem having my niece (2) or nephew (10 months) staying there.
Comment by Dana (David's Mom) on March 30, 2011 at 9:45pm
Just a note, the three bedroom villas are two story with the bedrooms and full bath on the secong level. Four bedroom are one level (ground) and the two bedrooms are two are on second level with two on ground level.

Thanks Ladies--your comments are helping--How many persons can comfortably stay in the same villa? and are they safe/clean enough for a 16 month old toddler?

It may be on base but doesn't look or feel like it. We felt like we were just in a nice neighborhood.
Comment by Emily-aaronsgirl11 on March 30, 2011 at 9:10pm
The only con I can think of- Its on base. Yes, that's a pro in some situations, but sometimes the guys just want to get away and not think about the Navy for a weekend. Plus, base is a little bit away from all the shopping, food, etc. Not terribly far, but Aaron and I did spend a lot of time driving back and forth where if we would have just gotten a hotel downtown or in North Charleston we would have done much less driving.
