Texted with my nuke last night. He was telling me that they had a public masting for the 3 power school sailors for DUI's this week. He said the Chief was "ripping everyone a new one." He's going to give me more details when we speak later. He's got his ME3 exam today! Can't wait for 3/16.
OkSuzy, are you an Oklahoma gal?
I love those new long dresses, lol...I may wear one of those for my son's graduation. Just sayin. plus mosquito spray. PS The new N4M banner is fresh IMO!
Hey there Tina41 One of your post asked how hot it gets in July :) Well I live in the EastCoast of NorthCarolina so here's a tip. GET Ready! That is a hoooot month. 90's and 100's are not out of the question. Plus, we do have humidity not found in the midwest for instance. I suggest wearing "loose" clothing and light colored clothing. Also a visor or cute hat to keep out the sun's rays may be advisable. Something also to consider is mosquito spray! I've heard the sailors comment that the base is on a swampy type area. Hey thanks for this question. I'm beginning to think about my outfit to graduation in May :) Go Nukes!
Dooby-we welcome all moms, dads, significant others, and so forth of any Navy Nukes...from deppers to vets! So, welcome to Nuke Moms!
dooby, this is a group for officers although we accept everyone with open arms! (((( hug))))....welcome to the group...what is your LO's job?
Morning....my daughter is Surface Nuke....is this site just Sub Nuke?
Lesliet, please let your son know that we appreciate his efforts. We know that he will be a success in another endeavor. The Navy is just one door - there are many. He just has to find the right one. You do not have to leave - once a Navy mom, always a Navy mom. We are still here in case you want to talk.
Lesliet, My prayers continue for your sailor, you and your family. God does direct our paths as we look to him. Proverbs 3:5-6. Love and Hugs
Lesliet, I hope your son finds a new career quickly but more importantly your entire family embraces and supports one another. Your son is a fine young man and he will succeed...if not in the Navy in a different rewarding career. He has lots to offer to society and needs your support now to help him realize that. (((HUGS))))
