For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

So funny, his bf sent me a photo of him on the beach, he is ghost-white while she is brown as a berry. Clearly he's been spending way too much time indoors!!

Survived Carmaggedon and even went north of the shut down for hubby's re-union picnic. We have had gorgeous weather today. Have driven everywhere with the convertible top down. Hate to come back home and inside. Makes up for the June gloom that started in May.

Comment by amanda on July 17, 2011 at 8:20pm: aww I love St. Aug. I remember visiting on special occasions. There was this HUGE outlet mall there and I remember one of the shops had an old popcorn machine and glass bottle coke dispenser. They were only like a nickel or something.

At the same time, I don't make a total mess of frying pancakes, eggs or have problems zipping up my pants (well, most days I don't !!!). I think they make the people on the first half of some of those infomercials looks like outright idiots!!!

That's a great idea, but I don't even know where there is one. They seem to be like pay phones --> gone by the wayside. The one we had in our town was turned into an eating establishment about 4 years ago. (laundromat that is -- pay phones are LONG gone)
