There was not a lot of activity on here today. We must remember that not only is this a place to tell of good news, but a place of encouragement as well. Just to check up on everyone. Our Sailors all have one thing in common, and we all share it as well. Lets continue to be the group that stands by each other, whether anything exciting is going on or not.

Hope you do not mind this interruption from the Group ANSWER

 http://www.navyformoms.com/group/answer_adoptasailorwriteeveryrecruit.

Yet since your already talking about PIR & will be receiving  more mail & contact. Please read on.

In research, we have learned that nearly every Divsion/PIR group has some SR(s) that are not receiving any mail or may be in recovery and would truly appreciate & love more communication. If you hear from your/any SR about someone who could sure use some kind encouraging words. Please contact me by message or request to join as described below.

Should you not want to join the group yet have a name(s) for us to write. You do need to friend request me, Hunters_Mom by a PRIVATE message with the SR Name(s) & address.

To join and share, first;, friend Hunters_Mom. .Next, Request to join the groupAfter approval to join (may take a day or two) you can then compose a 'Send Message to Group’, with the envelope icon. You can then send the SR’s name and address privately by 'Send Message to Group’ ONLY, with any particular notes so we may offer correctly tailored words of support in a card, note, or letter to them.

Again, please do not post any SR names, address, information in or on ANY PUBLIC FORUM or even the comments section within our own groups.

All good stuff, Felicia

LOL!  I got TWO letters yesterday.  I'm sure I startled the neighbors when I shrieked.  Hoping that maybe... just maybe... I might get one more today!

I am sorry I haven't been on here very much in the last couple of days. I am in VA Beach visiting my Sailor :-) Going back home on Saturday. It is supposed to rain all day today and have severe storms here. Last night the storms went through the area where I live. Like Diannep said prayers for everyone. Yesterday it was really cloudy and cool here in VA so not a lot of "beach time" but we are still enjoying our visit very much. Maybe the aquarium today???  Happy Thursday everyone, that was always my day to get letters :-)

skell:  You can send the last name out to all members of the group by private message if you want to.  Just click on the prompt above "Send Message to Group."  But you gave enough info in your post that if that SR's family is on this site, they may see your post and contact you.  How funny that he wrote that letter, but what a gift to you!  Of course, you already KNEW your SR was awesome, right?  HA!  But nice that another recognizes that!

LOL!  You're right!  I just checked my letter, and it's all last names!  Well, maybe next week's letter I'll have some first names.  Ha!

Anyone else dying that the RTC page didn't post the 4/27 pictures today?  !!!
