Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Pick them up, dust them off . . .To help those Moms who may not have gotten the best news today. This just demonstrates we can help them learn that failure only makes us stronger . . .
Mustang--Im am so sad to hear about your son. Sad because i know he's so bummed. :( hang in there, he needs your strength.
Mustang, sent you a PM. I feel such a kinship with you and I am so very sorry. I am sure there is a bright future for your SR. Forever Proud's words are very wise. There is a reason this happened, and the reason will become clear later. All you can do now is try your best to trust in that.
Isabel!! Time to take a nice long Relaxing shower!! YAY for you and your son!
Mustang So Sorry To Here That !!!!He Will Make It!!!! Prays To You And Your Sailor!!!!
I am so sorry to hear that mustang, hang in there, they will help him get though this and he will get that swim test passed and become a Sailor :) I know it's hard on both of you but all things happen for a reason. Many {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to you and you both are in my thoughts and prayers.
It's been a great journey with all you moms, but my SR just called and told me not to come to graduation. He did not pass his swin test. I can't begin to tell you how bad i feel right now. Not about me but how he's feeling after all the hard work he's done. So i say goodbye and Congrats to ALL the new Sailors!!
Thank you N4MOM'S for allowing me the opportunity to express my feelings.
So Happy A Beautiful Sound!!!!! Hope All Others get Calls!!!!! So Proud!!!! Tough Going But All Worth It!!!! Safe Trip To All !!!!!! See You Soon!!!!
Still walking of air, so prod of all our Sailors!
Question-I'm bringing my son his laptop. Does anyone know how much it costs for the internet and does he pay for it with his regular VISA card?
