~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Thanks diannep. :)
Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday:)
MimiR, it is not too late to place an order for ribbons. If you haven't already placed your order just send me a friend request and I will send you the info and link to my website :)
Good Morning All!
shannon: I know it is hard, but no news really is good news. If their PIR date changes for any reason, you are called. So assume that he is progressing! You will be getting that I'm a Sailor call very soon! Hang in there!
kimmie: What some have done in the same division in past groups is to pick out the same color for a scarf to wear...and do that. So maybe you all can discuss this in your discussion group above? Also, know that Sarge's MeetandGreet goes until 9 pm...so even if you scoot in there for about 20 minutes, you can talk to him and get info! And meet a few others there. I would write down any questions you have for him on your plane ride!
Has anyone decided on whether or not we are going to dress in the same color for graduation (Div 075/076). It would make it easy for us to recognize each other too. I would like to meet at least some of the people that have been helping me through this time. LOL Our flight does not get into O'hare until 6:49pm so I am not sure we will make it in time for the meet and greets.
Mimi: Like Allison said, Lala is wonderful about getting the ribbons out fast to you. She will even send them to your GL hotel if necessary. So hope you order one. She still has plenty of time to get it to you. Just go to her page on here and message her.
Good Morning All!
