~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

samsmom ship 12 Div 071 - my SR is Div 075 was ship 14 but moved to ship 03. Yes stay positive, hopefully today is OUR day ;)
No, knappi. They don't allow that anymore. Sorry.
When families have more than 4 people that would like to attend, is it possible to connect with another family that isnt bringing 4 people and get on their guest list?
Good morning!! So as the day ended sad, it took a turn. My son's Dad called me late last night to say he came home to a letter WHOO HOO!!! He sounded very positive.. It was like a 100 pound weight was lifted from me :) I am hoping for my letter today!!!
Good Morning Ladies!
{{{{{HUGS}}}}} knappi, hopefully it is just delayed because of all the holiday mailing. I hope you get one tomorrow :)
So sad...no letter today :(
Yay! Finally got the letter! He is upset that as of Sunday he still hadn't gotten any letters from us. I guess they are taking longer to get there than I expected. He must have gotten something from his girlfriend before he wrote because he knew about things that happened after he left! It just makes me miss him even more! Off to write another letter!
No worries on the change in ship address. They will forward mail to the new ship. The division number is the most important part of that. So they will get the letters! Sarah is correct on the entire division moving, not just part of it.
Yes, knappi. They can have visitors during the time they are in A School. But they have to phase up in order to leave base. I believe that on-base visits are allowed with them until they phase up.
knappi: No need to put the name of the ship in the address. Just the ship #/ & Div # and street address. Here is the page with the ship addresses:
How very exciting shellyD !! Where in the address does USS Hopper go? That is alot of good information from him :) was he in div 075? i am praying for a letter today!!!
