While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am glad you like the encouraging part :-) It's great when you send something encouraging to them and make it funny at the same time. I sent extra copies to my Sailor and told her share it with all her friend so they all got the benefit of it and then they could send it home to their families :-)

Had a good long call with my SR, she still sounded very positive. Maybe a little more tired than usual. She said the next call I get should be on 1-20-12 :) Ship 03/ Div 048 ,

My daugher divison 48 called today :). Sadly I missed the call as I was @ the grocery store :(. But glad Hubby & Sister were able to talk to her.
