Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". The SR's obviously talk about us a lot together, because my SR was naming off other parents that I talk to on Navy Moms, funny thing for me I don't know the names, but she knows it all......I think they are very happpy that we stay in tune to what is happening with them on here...Now i'm going to have to try to figure out who everyone is :) Merry Christams to all :) and may God bless our SR's on this beautiful day!

Comment by Navy Mom Ship 3, Div 047 on December 25, 2011 at 12:09am: I am the one that asked RTC and they said that Monday was going to be a regular day and that only Christmas and New Years Day was going to be their holiday schedule, but that is not what my SR told me on the phone today for this week and next week.

Comment by diannep on December 24, 2011 at 10:52pm: NavyMom: Thanks for the info. Someone asked on RTC FB if Monday would be a training day, and they said yes. I had thought "no" since most places are giving Monday off for Christmas. So it sounds like it is not to be a training day then. If that is the case, their week/day count will move back a day. No big deal...they will get it all done before PIR.

Hoping that all get the phone time that was announced! YAH!

Comment by Navy Mom Ship 3, Div 047 on December 24, 2011 at 7:24pm: I received a phone call at 2:15 AZ time. He said they were just told today that they get 60 minutes at the phone. He said that yesterday Friday, today Saturday, tomorrow and Monday are not counted as their normal training time. Therefore for ship 3/division 47 day 1 week 4 (hell week) will be on December 27, Tuesday
