Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Off to Juno Beach (90 miles north) for a beach day with sailor son and nephew. Beautiful down here today. So will be off the site until tonight.

Enjoy your day, ladies, and hope that mail and calls arrive for some of you today!

I think that surprised him, he thought he would handle that better. All I could do was encourage him and tell him how much he is loved and that we will always be here for him. And I agree, they will be better men and women at the end of this. It just can't come fast enough! Have a great day.

She was SIQ or LLD from having her wisdom teeth pulled and was in her rack when everyone else got to make a call. Man she was so mad, she spent some of that down time writing letters and venting about how she might not be able to eat but she could walk and talk just fine. Her letter was 3 pages of venting lol. But she did get to call a couple days after everyone else did and she warned me about the letter that was on it's way. Hopefully your SR will get a makeup call in the next day or so. Hang in there :-)
