For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Ok, so today is the only time I can say for sure that certain divisions went through BattleStations last night in this group! YAH! Calls today from 087/088/912....congrats to all of the new sailors of PIR 02/01~ Travel safely, enjoy the MeetandGreets tonight (remember, Sarge's will have the most info for you!)...and be early to PIR tomorrow! Exciting times!

HINT: For those of you expecting the I'm a Sailor calls tomorrow but will be flying with phones off. Change your voicemail to greet your new sailors. Ask that they leave as many messages as they like! It will be quite a treat for you when you land. Hoping that their calls will come when you are on the ground though!

Some of us are stilling waiting on Division 087, 088 and 912. The wait is killing us!!!

Hopefully the the 3 division will work together and become sailors also.

Our phone calls will come tomorrow as we are on the road to PIR!!

They are still recruits for a few more hours. I am praying for all the recruits, God be with them all and give them strength!

Div 085 & 086 went today. She called around 4, only had 15 min., sounded tired, said she wasn't really, but hungry. So sorry, don't think everyone passed in 085.

Comment by beebop96 on January 30, 2013 at 8:11pm: Just got a call from my sailor in division 085, so it seems 085 and 086 went with 804 and 805 today. When she called, I asked, "Are you a sailor?" And she replied, "Well, I'm no longer a recuit!!" So proud of her and all the recruits who passed and am praying that the recruits in divisions 087, 088 and 912 all pass BS.
